How to determine which version of Microsoft Office I'm using from Jack prabha's blog

To determine what version of Microsoft Office is currently running on your computer, select your operating system from the list below and follow the instructions.


Microsoft Windows users

  1. Open any of the Office applications, such as WordExcel, or PowerPoint.
  2. Create a new document.
  3. Choose File in the upper-left corner, and then select either Account or Help from the list to the left.
  4. Under Product Information, the Office product name and the full version number is shown.
  5. If you do not your version in the current window, select About WordAbout ExcelAbout PowerPoint, etc., and a new dialogue box should open that contains the full version number.
The Microsoft Office Specialist is considered an integral part of many businesses as they skillfully use an office suite to perform essential daily duties like written correspondence through MS-word, email programs, analyzing data sets.
