Adidas are releasing two editions
adidas superstar online
launched a new sneaker on Friday with a 3D-printed sole that it plans
to mass-produce next year, part of a broader push by the German
sportswear firm to react faster to changing fashions and create more
customized products.Adidas already lets people customize the color and
pattern of shoes ordered online but new 3D printing methods will make
small production runs, limited edition shoes and even soles designed to
fit an individual's weight and gait economical.Rivals Nike, Under Armour
and New Balance have also been experimenting with 3D printing but have
so far only used the technique to make prototypes, soles tailored for
sponsored athletes and a handful of high-priced novelty shoes.
As most of you know by now, the brand new adidas superstar 80s
will be making its highly anticipated debut tomorrow. There’s plenty of
OG-feel colorways to choose from, but adidas has decided to hook up the
ladies with something a little but more bold. Also releasing tomorrow
is the adidas Superstar Boost Women’s Metal Pack.Coming in your choice
of Metallic Copper or Metallic Silver, each pair opts for a
monochromatic look offset by the White hits placed on the shell toe,
laces, lining and concealed full-length Boost placed on the sole.
Comfort and boldness and wrapped up in one sneakers, I like that.
adidas superstar ii
are releasing two editions of the Tennis Hu, which both have colourways
that are a homage to their most iconic tennis shoes. The white pair with
green detailing is reminiscent of the Stan Smith and celebrates the
relationship between Stan and Pharrell, whilst the edition with the
yellow sole and golden heel tab is a reference to the Forest Hill, the
1970s court classic. For the Tennis Hu, Adidas and Pharrell take the
elements of a modern, lightweight runner and translate them into a
casual tennis model, with the Adidas Originals insignia featuring on
suede tab on the tongue.
The adidas superstar dames
celebrated its 30th anniversary not too long ago, but has since taken a
backseat to a number of silhouettes in the three stripe’s catalog
that’s now more focused on innovation and new technologies than anything
else. That doesn’t mean that the 80s icon hasn’t been revamped itself,
as adidas Originals is ushering in the New Year with two premium
“Metallic Toe” takes on the Superstar’s legendary shelltoe
construction. The adidas Superstar Gold Toe and adidas Superstar Silver
Toe takes the precious metal route to task while each colorway features
smooth white or black leather uppers for a more traditional
juxtaposition.
