This HAS to be the best thing I bought out of all the gun cleaning tools I have....You ever try to use the stock Glock nylon brush on your 9mm?...ya know how it can't get through the barrel? Not with this rod. It pushed right through.....made using patches a breeze, way easier then even the rod that came with the Hoppes #9 kit. As you push a brush through it actually rotates following the rifling...BUY this...you will thank me (and you can)....

This is one very high-quality piece of equipment. Smooth bearings, rigid strong rod, and very comfortable handle. The bearings allow the rod it turns of the brush can follow the contours of the rifling. There are times when you want a rotating rod and times that you want a straight one. This is one of the rotating kind and it works fantastic.

So far all the oils and lubricants clean easily off the rod and don’t leave any blemishes or marks. And this one is long enough to clean any handguns or carbines you might have. When you add the length of the brush to the total length of the rod and you could even clean a rifle in a pinch if you went through the barrel both sides.

I get the impression that this will be sort of a family heirloom kind of thing that one day I will pass to my children.

Best cleaning rod on the market! The swivel handle is where it’s at! It allows the rod and attached cleaning brush of your choice to turn down the barrel with its rifling. This is the best way to clean a rifle without damaging the rifling. The old style rods only allowed the rod to swivel when pushed down the barrel, but when pulled back thru the barrel it wouldn’t swivel.

I clean 3 rifles 3 times a week and this rod has saved me a ton of time and is a real wrist saver. Handle is well made and comfortably fits the hand. Rod is strong and sturdy, yet flexible. Tip is incorporated well into the rod and everything about the product is quality.

This is the best cleaning rod I’ve ever used and probably the last one I’ll ever need! I recommend this product 100%. Worth every penny!

Nice handgun rod. Comfortable in hand. Has a little weight to it, enough to make it steady. Spins easily. Well designed and made. When you think about how much you've got invested in the gun, or guns, it is well worth the cost of this rod to protect your bore and crown with this carbon fiber and brass rod. Wish they made a 4-inch version. Now, I want the rifle version!

These are a great item, a must for everyone's cleaning kit, never attempt to clean your AR or any weapon without one. These were always a standard item found in military cleaning kits, always glad to have it when I was cleaning my M16A1 or 1911A1 45 caliber pistol.

I got these for cleaning small crevices. Recently took over a home and the tenants never cleaned. These have been a life saver. After using these on my windows handles and locks I no longer have to replace the whole window because of all the filthy grime of cigarette and dog. I used them on my kitchen tile back drop as well, and it got out all the crap in between tiles. So happy I got these.

This is the 2nd time I'm buying these same brushes. They are Made in China,but putting that aside for cleaning both revolvers , semi autos and long guns they work well. They are cheap enough when they start wear or lose their efficiency I just toss them out and grab a new one. They work good with gun cleaning solvents. For the money they are hard to beat. I don't believe in paying extra for brand names when there isn't much if any difference.

Ok, so they aren't olive-drab...but they look, feel and work just like the old cleaning kit brushes...in fact, that's why I purchased them! Why pay such rip-off prices on a 'real NSN mil-spec brush', when these are the same...only different colors? Would definitely buy again!

Before I realized how useful this (supposedly "gun brush", patterned after the "famous rifle" kit' brush) thing is for "intended purpose", we put the rest of the kit EVERYWHERE. From use as a bottle brush to reusable containers (these pesky lid's gaskets and their channels), to ... you name it. Well, it's still a GREAT gun brush after all. Very well made. Didn't lose any whiskers yet. Definitely re-ordering!

I purchased these for gun cleaning, particularly recoil springs. They've worked well, and I've just sort of come to leave one here and there and everywhere. 10 was more than I needed, but since I have yet to find them at a local gun store, and they were inexpensive, I don't regret the purchase at all. It should work well for most firearm cleaning applications where fouling isn't easily wiped away. The different sizes of brush is a good idea gives more versatility. If you're going to seriously clean firearms often, one (or ten) of these isn't a bad idea. Recommended.

Stiffer than a toothbrush, but not as splashy. Cleaned flux off circuit boards and didn’t splash the dissolved flux like a firm toothbrush does. Less cleanup afterwards.

Definitely 5 stars. The brush is able to get into all the tight nooks it needs to get in to. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you, the seller is very clear on the description, these are nylon bristles and not metal. If you want metal ones hit the welding section of the hardware store.

Good quality/long lasting. Depending on what your using these for. I use to clean vintage razors does a great job!

I purchased this a while ago but. I recently started using it. this works great for target practice you'll have to dig Target into the ground to have it stable it is top heavy. Very strong pellets disintegrate on contact I'm shooting from a distance of 60 ft using a Gamo varmint 1250. Target is holding up very well and I enjoy the sound it makes when you hit it. You will have to make sure you have a backstop in my case I have my homemade pellet trap behind it to capture and he misses. Or if you're in a wide open space have at it lots of fun.

Great little crossman shooting target. We use while camping in with slingshot and daisy quarter inch load. Comes with extra stickers to replace once worn. Very sturdy target made of steel and thick coat of black paint. Folds flat for easy storage. Larger side targets are the size of an apple while middle target is around the size of a golf ball.

I have a .22 nitro gas break barrel sniper air rifle that routinely hits over 1000 fps on the meter with 15Gr target copper ammo. I set the target at 75 yards. If you want to get good, this is an inexpensive and reliable target. It's lived outdoors on my property for 1 month fully surviving rain, heat and cold. It makes a nice ping sound when hit and spins around like it should. The drawback is that I went through the paste-on targets the day I bought it. But as I hit the targets, they ding up in a way where it becomes shiny silver and easy to see. This will entertain folks that want to improve their skills inexpensively. It will likely not entertain or even frustrate some people as the targets are small for the casual shooter unless the targets are really close.

I use a break barrel pellet rifle with hollow point pellets. It's important to note that the target frame should be aligned squarely in front of your shooting position. So when you do hit the BULLEYE, the targets will spin. I've purchased some small 2.5-inch adhesive targets to replace the used ones. I've ranged and zeroed my rifle scope at 65 feet and it gives a nice report when I score hits. No problem with the size. If you're shooting pellets with an air rifle your accuracy should be three-inch groups anyway.
