"One reason why this wow classic gold was an exciting endeavor, concerning the sense of the Classic gameplay, was that WoW has evolved quite a bit in 15 decades," Brian Birmingham, Lead Software Engineer in Blizzard tells us.
An experienced member of this World of Warcraft team which has been with the studio since 2006. "It really is a different game today. Having the ability to bring back the past and provide players that choice of exactly what WoW they wish to play with was one of the things that made it attractive to us."
Omar Gonzalez, Senior Software Engineer at Blizzard, who has been at the studio for over 16 decades, remembers the launch. "We had a signing event in the local Fry's Electronics, for the midnight launch. I showed up a bit time before midnight and the lineup was beyond insane," Omar recalls. "I remember walking the line because it moved around the whole building. And this was a warehouse sized construction.
The line moved around that, came back buy classic wow gold around the building for a second time and moved out on the road for blocks. This was the very first time it hit me just how big it was going to be."
