The Arizona Cardinals added two running backs in the wake of the injury to standout David Johnson.
The re-signing of Chris Johnson and signing of D.J. Foster off the New England practice squad gives Arizona five running backs on the roster. Quantity, though, probably won't replace the quality of Johnson, who accounted for more than 2,000 yards last season.
Johnson dislocated his left wrist Sunday in a season-opening loss at Detroit. He will require surgery and will be lost eight to 12 weeks.
There seemed to be a difference of opinion after Wednesday's practice as to how Arizona's offense would change because Johnson is gone.
Coach Bruce Arians, uncharacteristically terse with reporters,Authentic Kendall Fuller Jersey, said it wouldn't change "one iota."
Quarterback Carson Palmer had a difference assessment.

"I just had bitterness toward being cut period," he said. "The type of player that I am and being that it was unexpected and given everything that was happening, of course there was bitterness. But I couldn't dwell on it. Just made sure I stayed in shape and get ready for whatever opportunity I had coming towards me."

The loss of David Johnson puts the spotlight on the 37-year-old Palmer more than ever. He is coming off of one of his worst performances of his long career. Against the Lions, he completed 27 of 48 passes for 269 yards and one touchdown with three interceptions. He had a quarterback rating of 53.2.
Arians said Palmer is the best quarterback he's been around at bouncing back from a bad outing.
"I just think that comes with playing the position and experience and not doubting yourself and getting down on yourself," Palmer said. "Just get up and come back firing."
Does he feel that way this week?
"I feel that way every week," he said, "especially this week after I disappointed myself and my teammates. I'll be ready to roll on Sunday. It can't be here fast enough."
Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano kept replaying the season-opening rout in his mind Sunday night.

Tolzien did nothing to assuage the growing concerns Sunday.
He went 9 of 18 for 128 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions - both returned for scores.
In fact, Tolzien probably would have thrown a third pick-six if receiver Donte Moncrief hadn't broken up the pass by grabbing the facemask of Rams defensive back Nickell Robey-Coleman.
The combination of mistakes and the blowout finally prompted Pagano to pull Tolzien in the fourth quarter to give newcomer Jacoby Brissett a shot. Brissett was acquired in a trade with New England on Sept. 2 and spent most of last week trying to learn the playbook.
Still, Brissett wound up going 2 of 3 for 51 yards with no turnovers. And it was a good enough performance to instigate a debate over whether Tolzien, who is 0-3-1 as an NFL starter, should be benched for this weekend's home opener against the Cardinals.
Tolzien and Brissett were not baited into that discussion Sunday and were not available Monday.
''There's nobody that can come in and digest and learn a playbook in that period of time,'' Pagano said. ''So there's challenges that would be with any quarterback in any system in any NFL building.''
Of course, there was plenty of blame to go around.
Pro Bowl receiver T.Y. Hilton lost a fumble as he tried to gain extra yards.
The offensive line allowed four sacks and Indy averaged 3.1 yards on 24 carries.
The defense pitched in by letting Jared Goff throw for 306 yards and allowing the franchise's highest opening-day point total since 1954 when the Rams shut them out 48-0.
Even Adam Vinatieri struggled. He missed a 38-yard field goal in the third quarter and the Colts' only extra point attempt in the fourth.

Pagano blamed himself for not doing a good enough job - and not challenging a call on a first-quarter play on which the Colts appeared to score a touchdown.
