Porosity: Welding porosity will seriously affect the air tightness and welding strength of welding, laser welding solutions,and it is most likely to occur when welding materials with strong thermal conductivity.



Treatment method: remove oil, water, rust and other pollutants on the surface before welding, which can reduce the tendency of porosity; appropriately slow down the cooling time, and give enough time for the gas generated during the welding process to overflow, which can improve the quality of the molten pool.



Cracks: Due to the large shrinkage force generated by welding before full solidification, common welding cracks are transverse cracks and end cracks.


Treatment method: reduce internal stress by preheating before welding and annealing after welding



Spatter: There is oil on the material before welding or the material itself contains low boiling point elements. During the welding process, a closed space is formed, which is caused by the expansion of the gas in the space.


Treatment method: appropriately reduce the power; in the case of ensuring the penetration depth, appropriately increase the welding speed; appropriately increase the defocus amount to reduce the laser power density on the surface of the workpiece.
