Nike Running Shoe Review
In many ways it’s the ideal long-distance road running shoe. There is ample support from the nike flyknit lunar 3
sole and yet the LunarEpic weighs in at just 249g for a UK size 9,
where most other cushioned models top 300g. A saving of 50g might not
seem much, but over 42km it can make a difference.Even over shorter runs
the LunarEpic feels lightweight and responsive, with a smooth
transition that allows you to pick up the pace and feel the road beneath
your feet. It’s not perfect for all-out sprint sessions due to the
cushioning, but it’s good for any other road training, and shines during
medium and race-pace runs of 10K or more.
Another multicolor variation of the nike lunarepic flyknit
3 is introduced to kick-off the new year, as it flaunts an official
palette of Racer Blue/Total Crimson/Volt/Black.Defined by its
ultra-lightweight and incredibly strong knitted upper that intertwines
the vivid tones into an eye-catching profile, this component also
delivers seamless, supportive comfort. To nicely offset its vivid upper,
bold hits of Black adorn the Swoosh branding, laces, inner lining and
piping on its midsole unit. All resting atop a clean white sole unit with
molded flex grooves on the outsole to promote natural range of motion,
carbon rubber is also applied along the heel for lasting durability.
The nike lunarglide 8
was one of Nike’s best new models of 2016. Looking to have the same
type of success on 2017, Nike has decided to move forward with the model
by releasing fresh new flavors. One of those new looks happens to be
the Nike LunarEpic Flyknit Oreo.Rocking a clean White and Black color
scheme, the Nike LunarEpic Flyknit Oreo comes constructed out of a
Flyknit upper paired up with the sock like collar done in the same hues.
The comfort of the upper matches up nicely with the Lunarlon sole unit
which results in of the most comfortable runners that Nike has come out
with in the last few years.
The knit upper material is stronger than earlier, with the knit itself
being denser. The forefoot area is more spacious. The tongue is
integrated into the upper, so it won’t slide around, and makes for a
seamless one-piece build. This will always be more stable and rigid
than any shoe-upper part put together. The Flywire cables run around the
shoe nicely, and when laced up properly, you get a comfortable yet
locked-down fit. While we have seen varieties of the Flyknit
implementation across multiple running shoes, the LunarEpic Flyknit 2 is
extremely comfortable and doesn’t tug at the foot. The materials used
aren’t as breathable perhaps as the nike lunartempo 2 upper but it does not feel uncomfortable even on a hot day.
