Chambor Smooth On Eyeliner in Army Green Review Chambor Smooth On Eyeliner in Army Green Review

Hi everybody,

How are you doing? After hoarding a lot of blue liners, I was in search of good green liners – the ones on the darker side of green because light greens on my already green eyes make me look like ginnie Anyway, so in the green race, I picked up two green eyeliners, one is “what was I thinking?” type and another “where were you before?” type. So, this one from Chambor falls in the latter category. Read on to find more on this one.

Product Description:

High-performance liquid eyeliner: it is characterised by immediate colour release.

It draws a full, long lasting stroke and guarantees good application control. The formulation incorporates fast-drying acrylic polymers that produce a continuous, persistent film. The product fixes perfectly to the skin, without smudging. These special additives, eyeshadow palette, with water-resistant properties, help the pigment last for hours, even when it comes into contact with water. The finish is bright, intense and characterized by high coverage. For a defined look, glide along lash line from inner to outer corner of the eye. For a dramatic look, wholesale mac cosmetics, apply slightly heavier at outer corners. Do not apply on the inner rim of eyes.

Price:

INR 625 for 3.5 ml.

Ingredients:

Acrylates copolymer, cyclopentasiloxane, dimethicone, disteardimonium hectorite, glyceryl dibehenate, hydrogenated polyisobutene, hydrogenated styrene/isoprene co-polymer, isododecane, kaolin, lecithin, methicone, polymethylsilsesquioxane, silica, sorbitan sesquioleate, stearic acid, synthetic flourphlogopite talc, tocopheryl acetate, triethoxycaprylylsilane.

My Experience with Chambor Smooth On Eyeliner in Army Green:

Well, I mostly use pencil and gel eyeliners. Though I did hear a lot about the staying power of liquid eyeliners, I always thought I would mess up in application. When I saw this one, it was love at first sight.  Though I was still skeptical about the application part, I bought it immediately.

The packaging consists of a transparent gloss kind of tube through which the eyeliner can be seen. It is a small, cute tube. It has a screw kind of lock and has no chances of leaking in your bag.  The shade appears to be glittery green from the tube but it actually sets to somewhere between matte and glossy finish.  Shimmers would not have interested me either. It is a unique green shade going true to its name of “Army Green.” I have a dress in such shade too You must have used many greens but this is going to have a special place in your vanity. It dries up in around half a minute which makes it perfect for me as I cannot keep my eyes closed for long.
Now coming to the applicator part, it was fine for me, it allows a smooth application. I just wish it was a little stiffer for beginners like me.

Chambor has such amazing staying power. It stayed on my oily lids for 6 hours intact without any base or BB cream.  After that, it began to wear off a little but did not vanish completely. It was only when I removed it consciously that it came out.  Needless to say, it is completely smudge-proof and water proof. So, that makes it fall under my trustworthy category of liners who will never ditch on special occasions.

Swatches:

Overall, Chambor is Chambor quality wise and I love it for that.

Pros of Chambor Smooth On Eyeliner in Army Green:Pretty unique shade.Stays on and on.Comes in a cute gloss like packaging.Applicator is fine enough for a smooth application.Sets in to somewhere between complete matte and complete glossy look.Smudge proof, mac cosmetics.Water proof.Cons of Chambor Smooth On Eyeliner in Army Green:Pricey.I wish the applicator was a little more stiff.

Do I Recommend/Will I Repurchase Chambor Smooth On Eyeliner in Army Green?

Yes for both.

IMBB Rating:

4.5/5

Until next time, take care!

COSTA DO SAUIPE, Brazil - France was perhaps the biggest beneficiary when FIFA decided on its procedure for the World Cup draw Tuesday, as the team now has better odds of avoiding Brazil and Argentina. Cheap MLB Jerseys . As the lowest-ranked of nine unseeded European qualifiers, France was expected to go in the Africa-dominated draw pot — meaning it could not be placed in the same group as a top-seeded European team. But instead of following its format from the 2006 World Cup, FIFA decided that all nine European teams enter an open ballot which starts the draw ceremony on Friday. That team selected will effectively enter Pot 2 alongside the five African teams, plus Chile and Ecuador. France could yet face the top South Americans but now also has the unexpected chance of drawing seeded Switzerland or Belgium. FIFA President Sepp Blatter said the decision followed talks with confederation presidents, including UEFAs French president Michel Platini. However, he sidestepped a question asking him to explain a procedure that seemingly ignored FIFAs own precedent and favoured France. "Let us (hold the) draw and not let us speak of teams," Blatter said. FIFA traditionally tries to create pots based on geography, so that groups will include teams from up to four different continents and avoiding scenarios where three European teams get grouped together. For the 2006 tournament — the last time there were nine unseeded European teams — Serbia and Montenegro was the lowest-ranked team from the continent. That time, FIFA put it in a separate pot, and Serbia and Montenegro found itself in the toughest group: with Argentina, Netherlands and Ivory Coast. The eight top-ranked teams in Pot 1 also include Colombia, Uruguay, Germany and Spain. The five African teams in Pot 2 are Algeria, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Nigeria, while Pot 3 includes the teams from the Asian and CONCACAF regions — Australia, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico and the United States. In other decisions Tuesday, FIFAs World Cup organizing committee declined to switch early kickoff times in tropical cities despite concerns by the international players union over the heat and humidity. Blatter had suggested in Rome last month that seven 1 p.m. kickoff times in Fortaleza, Natal, Recife and Salvador could be re-evaluated. FIFPro, the international players union, had formally asked FIFA to consider moving the matches to later in the day. "We were perfectly aware of the weather conditions when this match schedule was organized," FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke said of the October 2011 agreement. "It was done in a professional way." Valcke confirmed FIFAs budgeted commitment to increase World Cup prize money by around one-third, but the exact breakdown will be decided later this week. FIFA shared $348 million among the 32 national federations in 2010, including $30 million to Spain for winning and a minimum of $8 million to each team. FIFA has previously said the prize fund will be $454 million next year. Cheap MLB Jerseys China . During halftime, Love told The Associated Press he would receive treatment Saturday night and hoped to play Monday night against Houston. "I knew that my quad was bothering me pretty bad so I went out there and tried to move around a little bit and it just wasnt quite right," Love said. Cheap MLB Jerseys Free Shipping . Miamis 7-1 loss to Josh Beckett and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night was overshadowed by the announcement team president Michael Hill made in the Dodger Stadium press box during the third inning. Hill said Marlins doctor Lee Kaplan had recommended Tommy John surgery to repair a significant tear in Fernandezs right elbow.WASHINGTON -- Washington Redskins president Bruce Allen said in a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Saturday that the pro football teams nickname is "respectful" toward Native Americans. On Thursday, half the U.S. Senate urged National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell to change the Washington clubs name, saying it is a racist slur and it is time to replace it. The franchise responded by releasing Allens letter. "Our use of Redskins as the name of our football team for more than 80 years has always been respectful of and shown reverence toward the proud legacy and traditions of Native Americans," he wrote. The letter references research that "the term Redskins originated as a Native American expression of solidarity." It notes that the teams logo was designed by Native American leaders and cites surveys that Native Americans and Americans as a whole support the name. Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has refused to change the name, citing tradition, but there has been growing pressure including statements in recent months from President Barack Obama, lawmakers of both parties and civil rights groups. Last month, Reid took to the Senate floor to say Snyder should "do what is morally right" and change the name. In a letter Thursday, 49 senators mentioned the National Basketball Associations quick action recently to ban Los Angeles Clippers oowner Donald Sterling for life after he was heard on an audio recording making offensive comments about blacks. Authentic Cheap MLB Jerseys. They said Goodell should formally push to rename the Redskins. "We urge you and the National Football League to send the same clear message as the NBA did: that racism and bigotry have no place in professional sports," read the letter, which did not use the word "Redskins." Sen. Bill Nelson of Florida wrote his own letter saying he doesnt believe that retaining the Redskin name "is appropriate in this day and age." In a written response Thursday, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said "the intent of the teams name has always been to present a strong, positive and respectful image." Reid and Sen. Maria Cantwell of Washington state led the letter-writing effort. All senators on the letter are Democrats. Cantwell spokesman Jared Leopold said Republicans were not asked to participate. The senators noted that tribal organizations representing more than two million Native Americans across the U.S. have said they want the Redskins name dropped. Despite federal laws protecting their identity, "Every Sunday during football season, the Washington, D.C., football team mocks their culture," they wrote. "The NFL can no longer ignore this and perpetuate the use of this name as anything but what it is: a racial slur." cheap jerseys from china ' ' '

PHOENIX -- Some Suns fans made the mistake of disrespecting Jerryd Bayless Phoenix roots. Julio Cesar Jersey . He made regret their words. The Memphis guard came off the bench to score 13 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter, leading the Grizzlies to a 99-91 win over Phoenix on Thursday night. The Grizzlies overcame 33 points from Suns guard Goran Dragic to improve to 14-17. Bayless was born and raised in Phoenix, played high school ball just north of the US Airways Center and played in college at Arizona. He helped the Grizzlies recover from the Suns 18-0 third-quarter run, giving Memphis a 94-84 lead on a 3-pointer with 4:30 to play. "Well, some guys on the sidelines said that I disgraced St. Marys (high school)," Bayless said. "That kind of hurt my feelings and that got me going a little bit." Zach Randolph had 20 points and 15 rebounds in helping the Grizzlies cool the Suns for a night, the second win for the visitors in two meetings between the teams this season. Ed Davis added 16 points and 11 rebounds. Dragic scored 15 of his points during the Suns big third quarter. Dragic added seven assists and finished with a career high in points on the night the Suns gave away thousands of bobbleheads bearing his likeness. The Suns (19-12) couldnt fight off the Grizzlies, who scored seven straight points to regain the lead after trailing by four to start the final quarter. Bayless fueled the run with a 3-pointer and jumper to give the Grizzlies an 80-75 lead with 9:31 left to play. "It was their bench that killed us again," Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. "These guys, if they dont think that Ed Davis and Bayless are good players, theyre crazy." Dragic drilled a 3-pointer after a layup by Davis and hit another after a layup by James Johnson to pull Phoenix within 84-81, but the Suns never got the lead back. "Memphis is not a good matchup for us," Dragic said. "They have a lot of big guys under the rim and they attack the paint." The Suns led 26-22 after one quarter, but struggled with their shooting in the second, when they made just 6 of 23 from the floor. Memphis took a five-point lead on a driving layup from Mike Conley with 7:26 to play in the quarter. Then Conley flipped a no-look pass behind his back to Davis for the assist on a basket and a 38-31 lead. The Suns cut the lead to 46-41 on a dunk from Markieff Morris with 2:20 left in the half, but the Grizzlies scored the next seven points and took a 53-41 lead into the break. Randolph, who didnt play in the first meeting between the teams this season in Tennessee, led Memphis with 14 first-half points and grabbed eight rebounds. The Suns missed nine of 11 3-point attempts in the first half. The Suns 41 first half points was one away from their season low of 40 last week at Golden State. It didnt take long, however, for Phoenix to get back into the game. The Suns scored 16 unanswered points over a three-minute span in the third quarter, including Dragics step-back jumper that gave them a 58-57 lead. The Suns scoring streak reached 18 straight points on P.J. Tuckers layup with 6:12 left in the quarter that gave them a 62-57 lead. Memphis finally broke the run with Conleys two free throws at the 5:43 mark. "We weathered the storm," Randolph said. "When J.B. (Bayless) hits shots like that it opens up for us. We can play in the paint." The Grizzlies outrebounded the Suns 59-40 and were more physical throughout the game. Channing Frye scored eight of his 14 points in the game in the third quarter. NOTES: Suns guard Eric Bledsoe was a late scratch from the starting lineup due to a right knee sprain, and didnt play. Gerald Green started at the two-guard in Bledsoes place. Hornacek said Bledsoe, who was injured during the Suns game against the Clippers on Monday, is questionable for the Suns game Sunday against Milwaukee. . Hornacek was named the NBAs Western Conference Coach of the Month for December. He led Phoenix to a 10-3 record during the month. Hornacek is the third person in NBA history to win both Coach of the Month and Player of the Month, and the first to do so with the same franchise. Ramires Brazil Jersey .C. -- The Montreal Canadiens needed a little time to get up to speed in their final game before the Olympic break. Ronaldo Soccer Jersey . New York can secure its 16th post-season trip in 17 years with one victory in Wednesdays day-night doubleheader against the Rays.BROOKLYN, NY -- On the Toronto Raptors bus ride to practise Saturday, talk wasnt about the upcoming game against the Brooklyn Nets. It centred around the Los Angeles Clippers and owner Donald Sterling. The NBA is investigating a report of an audio recording in which a man identified as Sterling tells his girlfriend not to bring black people to games. "Guys more than anything are saying, Something has to addressed, something has to be said," said Raptors forward Steve Novak, who spent two seasons (2008-10) with the Clippers. The league said it is in the process of authenticating the validity of the recording posted on TMZs website. In the recording, the man questions his girlfriends association with minorities. TMZ reported the woman, V. Stiviano, who is of black and Mexican descent, posted a picture of herself with Lakers Hall of Famer Magic Johnson on Instagram -- which has since been removed. "Theres definitely not a place for it in the NBA, in this game," Novak said. "What makes it so strange is hes been an NBA owner for that many years (33), hes not someone who isnt associated with African Americans, someone whos benefited that much from African Americans. . . theyve been such a positive part of his life. "Sometimes theres very successful people who arent very good people," Novak added about the American business magnate. The man in the recording asked Stiviano not to broadcast her association with black people or bring black people to games. He specifically mentioned Magic Johnson on the recording, saying "dont bring him to my games, OK?" "I will never go to a Clippers game again as long as Donald Sterling is the owner," Johnson responded on Twitter. He also said the alleged comments are "a black eye for the NBA" and felt bad that friends such as Clippers coach Doc Rivers and point-guard Chris Paul had to work for Sterling. "I dont blame him. I wouldnt either," DeMar DeRozan said of Johnsons decision to boycott games. DeRozan, who grew up in Compton just south of downtown Los Angeles, said he felt for the Clippers players, who lead their Western Conference playoff series against Golden State 2-1. "Honestly, especially right now in the playoffs, theyre trying to win their series so its going to be interesting to see (how the players handle the situation),&quuot; DeRozan said. Ronaldinho Jersey. Landry Fields added: "Right now theyre kind of in a tough position. Theres still playoffs to be played. But it is sad that now this has become an issue rather than Clipper basketball." DeRozan was asked if he could play for an owner like Sterling. "I dont know man, I dont know. I dont know," the all-star said with a shake of his head. "Me personally, I dont stand for nothing like that. It would be tough, itd be tough." Added Raptors coach Dwane Casey: "If its true, its a sad commentary on our society . . . on our society as a whole, being an African American myself." Novak said the allegations are no surprise, players have known about previous discrimination cases against Sterling. He said the NBA must take action. "I think its personal to each and every guy," Novak said. "More than anything I dont think the league can sit back and say it didnt happen, if it did. "Theres no way that should be tolerated. I dont think in any workplace in the world you can speak that way about anybody, and in our league especially." New NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in a press conference before the Grizzlies playoff game in Memphis that the audio is "disturbing and offensive." "All members of the NBA family should be afforded due process and a fair opportunity to present their side of any controversy, which is why Im not yet prepared to discuss any potential sanctions against Donald Sterling," Silver said. "We will, however, move extraordinarily quickly in our investigation." Novak added its a huge black eye to the NBA ownership group. "The owners in the NBA are such an impressive group of people," he said. "Look at all the owners and what theyve done, and all the good things that they do, and so for something like that to come out, to be grouped as an NBA owner type-thing is unfortunate." Sterling has been involved in several lawsuits over the years. Novak played for the Clippers when the owner was sued by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2009. Sterling agreed to pay US$2.73 million to settle allegations by the government that he refused to rent apartments to Hispanics and blacks and to families with children. Sterling is the longest-tenured owner in the NBA since Lakers owner Jerry Buss died last year. cheap jerseys from china ' ' '

PHILADELPHIA -- Danny Briere rediscovered his scoring touch and Ilya Bryzgalov continued to thwart opposing scorers. Briere scored a pair of goals, Bryzgalov made 23 saves and the Philadelphia Flyers clinched a playoff berth with a 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night. Briere had just one goal in his last 29 games entering Saturday and that was an empty-netter. Before that, the last time Briere scored was Jan. 8 against Ottawa when he had a hat trick. "I wasnt playing as well earlier and I was scoring and probably the last three weeks I was playing better," said Briere, who has 16 goals this season. "The chances were there, but I just couldnt finish. I knew at some point it was going to turn." Meanwhile, Bryzgalov continued his hot play. He improved his record this month to 10-1-1 while making several excellent saves from close range. "He made some big saves for us," Philadelphia coach Peter Laviolette said. "We got a little careless at times with what we were doing out there. There werent a lot of quality chances, but there were some really good ones and we needed big saves and he gave them to us. "He seems really confident, big in the net, hes there before the shot comes and hes set up. Hes a big guy and hes like a wall right now. Our guys feed off that a little bit. Hes been a big part of why weve had a good March." Three of Philadelphias four goals came on the power play, upping the Flyers league-leading total to 61. "We didnt have a good night and they did a good job," said Montreals Tomas Plekanec, who scored the Canadiens goal. "They shot the puck at the right time, got it through with a good screen with those first two goals and the third goal, which was big tonight, there was a (line) change." Brieres second goal put the Flyers up 3-1 with 2:20 left in the second period. Jaromir Jagr took a long outlet pass from Bryzgalov at the Flyers blue line and flicked it on to Briere, who got one-on-one with Canadiens goalie Peter Budaj and roofed a forehand shot from in close. "It was a great heads-up play by (Bryzgalov)," Briere said. "He saw that they were all changing. A little bit of a breakdown on their part and we were able to take advantage of that." Besides getting his second assist of the season, Bryzgalov was strong in goal again. His most impressive saves came in the first periodd when he stopped Aaron Palushaj and Frederic St-Denis on shots from right in front of the goal. Authentic Cheap MLB Jerseys. He also denied Erik Cole on a breakaway with a glove save. "Its great," Bryzgalov said. "Were focused on playing the proper way, playing good hockey. Were battling hard. Sometimes were lucky. Its tough to complain." Briere put the Flyers ahead 2-1 with a power-play goal 7:57 into the second period after deflecting Matt Carles wrist shot from the point past Budaj. Montreal had tied it 4 minutes earlier on Plekanecs breakaway tally. Plekanec got in on Bryzgalov and scored on a pretty backhand move, just sneaking the puck past the sprawling Bryzgalov. The Flyers had taken a 1-0 lead midway through the first period when Kimmo Timonen rocketed a slap shot from the blue line that zoomed past Budaj into the upper left corner of the goal. Matt Read added a goal with 1:53 left in the game for the Flyers on a one-timer from just in front of the crease. "I think the opportunities to shoot the puck were there and when we dont take those opportunities, its tough to turn around and have them come back the other way," Montreal coach Randy Cunneyworth said. "So we look at those opportunities that we kind of didnt take advantage of." The loss officially eliminated the struggling Canadiens from playoff contention. "Its tough," Montreals Ryan White said. "Were the guys in here that are frustrated with it. Obviously, you want to make the playoffs and have a chance to win the Cup, and the worst thing about it is we dont have a chance to win the Cup this year. So, its frustrating for sure. "Were going to have to come back with a chip on our shoulder for sure next year. Its frustrating, we got behind at the start of the season, and its tough climbing an uphill battle. We just didnt do a good enough job again." Notes: Flyers captain Chris Pronger received a standing ovation when he was introduced to the crowd late in the first period. SOCHI, Russia -- Finland eliminated Russia from the Olympic mens hockey tournament with a 3-1 victory Wednesday, putting a stunning end to the Russians enormous expectations at home. wholesale nfl jerseys . Teemu Selanne scored an early goal and Tuukka Rask made 37 saves as Finland crushed the Russians dreams of winning hockey gold in front of their own fans. Russian teams have won eight gold medals in hockey, but none in the last 22 years. Selanne and Mikael Granlund each had a goal and an assist for the steady Finns, who overcame an early deficit and silenced the Bolshoy Ice Dome with two goals in the first period. Despite its roster of high-priced offensive stars, Russia couldnt score in the final 52 minutes after Ilya Kovalchuks early power-play goal. Finland will face top-seeded Sweden in the semifinals on Friday. Russia has failed to win a medal in three straight Olympics since 2002, and even home-ice advantage couldnt end the embarrassing drought. A quarter-final exit is excruciating for the proud Russian team, which pressed relentlessly and fruitlessly in the third period after falling behind by two goals. After the final buzzer, several Russian players stood on the ice with their hands on their knees. Evgeni Malkin, who failed to score a goal in the last four games, dropped to one knee before captain Pavel Datsyuk led the traditional post-game handshake line. The Russians then gathered at centre ice amid more jeers and whistles than cheers, mournfully raising their sticks to salute the fans before skating off the ice at an arena built to herald Russias return to hockey dominance. Alex Ovechkin, the reigning NHL MVP and one of the Sochi Games most public faces, failed to score another goal for Russia after scoring on his first shot just 1:17 into Russias opener against Slovenia. Malkin, the Russians other former NHL MVP, also didnt score a goal after the first four minutes of the opener. Ovechkin, Malkin and Datsyuk all hailed Russias home Olympics as the most important tournament of their careers, but theyll likely have only bitter memories. Russia didnt play horribly in Sochi, winning three of its five games, but lost a painful eight-round shootout to the U.S. team before falling behind early and failing to catch up against steady Finland. Semyon Varlamov allowed all three goals on 15 shots against the Finns before getting pulled for Sergei Bobrovsky during the second period. Juhamatti Aaltonen scored the first goal for Finland, the most consistently successful Olympic team in the last two decades, winning medals in four of the past five games. Russian fans realized the importance and peril of this game, filling the Olympic park early in the afternoon with cheers, chants and Russian flags. The Bolshoy crowd began chanting "Ro-ssi-ya!" even before pre-game warm-ups, waving hundreds of flags and banners emblazoned with hometowns and slogans. The tone was uncommonly intense from the opening faceoff. After Granlund took an early holding penalty in the offensive zone, captain Pavel Datsyuk fed Kovalchuk for a hard shot over Rasks shoulder. Kovalchuk popped the water bottle off the top of Finlands net and celebrated with a two-footed leap into the air amid ecstatic cheers. But moments later, Aaltonen made a beautiful move along the goal line, putting a shot under Varlamovs glove arm for the KHL forwards first goal in Sochi. Bolshoy got quiet, and it became positively funeral-like late in the period when Granlund moved up the boards, broke past two defencemen and fed Selanne for the Finn captains 22nd goal in a record-tying six trips to the Olympics. The 43-year-old Selanne extended his own record for the oldest player to score in an Olympics. Finland scored again on the power play early in the second, with Granlund collecting Selannes rebound and sliding in a backhand from a sharp angle. Granlund, who turns 22 in a week, hadnt been born when Selanne played in his first Olympics in 1992. Russia put together an impressive offensive stretch after Bobrovsky came on, with Rask forced to make a big save on Alexander Semins breakaway. The Russians continued to press in the third period, outshooting Finland 14-5, but Rask made big saves when his teammates didnt block Russias shots. Dozens of fans lingered in their seats long after the team left the ice, disconsolately folding their flags and staring at the ice. A few Finnish fans near centre ice even went up to a group of Russian fans for a hug. jerseys from china . MIAMI - Major League Baseball has withdrawn its lawsuit against a defunct Florida anti-aging clinic at the centre of the scandal involving use of banned substances by players, including New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez. Fernandinho Jersey . A lawyer for MLB, Matthew Menchel, confirmed Wednesday the league dropped its case against Biogenesis of America, its owner Anthony Bosch and several other individuals. The lawsuit had accused Biogenesis and Bosch of conspiring with players to violate their contracts by providing them with banned performance-enhancing substances. Fourteen players associated with the Coral Gables clinic were disciplined last year by MLB, including a season-long 2014 suspension imposed on Rodriguez. The Yankees star recently dropped his lawsuit against MLB and agreed to serve the suspension. Although the lawsuit sought unspecified money damages, it also provided MLB a way to subpoena clinic records. Marcelo Brazil Jersey .com) - Alabama and Florida State were predictably the top two teams in the latest installment of the BCS standings. Maxwell Jersey . Balotelli fired into the top far corner from 35 metres in the 86th minute. The result will be a welcome boost before the first leg of Milans Champions League last-16 tie against Spanish league leader Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.(Sports Network) - The Kings opened up a successful road trip with a win over the Flames last weekend. In their return to Los Angeles, theyll get a chance at extending Calgarys road losing streak. The Kings look to keep up the pressure in the Pacific Division and deal the Flames a seventh straight road defeat on Thursday night. The Flames went beyond overtime on Tuesday, but suffered a 2-1 loss to the Sharks. Chris Butler had the lone regulation tally for Calgary and Miikka Kiprusoff made 30 saves, but couldnt get his club a win after being given a second chance. The Sharks appeared to win the game in overtime, but Justin Brauns goal was waved off for goaltender interference even though replays showed that is was the Flames Olli Jokinen who made contact with Kiprusoff. Despite a second straight loss overall, Calgary captain Jarome Iginla would like to see his club repeat Tuesdays effort. "Thats the way it goes some night, but its unfortunate because I thought we were playing hard and creating," said Iginla. "Our [penalty kill] was good. It was a good game. Unfortunately we didnt get two points, but its still an important point and its a big step in the right direction as far as how we want to play. "If we carry that into Thursday, well get some good results playing like that." Calgary played with only 10 forwards for a good portion of Tuesdays game after opting to dress seven defenseman and then losing winger Curtis Glencross to a left leg injury in the second period. He is questionable for tonight. Los Angeeles got a goal and an assist each from Mike Richards and Dustin Brown in a 4-1 win at Calgary on Saturday, the Kings fourth victory in a row in this series after losing 14 of 16. David Luiz Jersey. After losing the middle contest of the three-game swing in Edmonton, Los Angeles edged out a 3-2 shootout win over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday, with Richards netting the game-winner in the shootout. Dustin Penner and Justin Williams scored in regulation, while Jonathan Quick made 31 saves to give the Kings a 9-1-5 mark over their past 15 games and keep them two points back of the first-place Sharks in the Pacific Division. "Youre only as good as your last game and we certainly needed to come back with a little bit of snarl. We lost our last game in Edmonton and you need to have that mentality that we lost that last game, weve got to come out and push," said Williams, who has three goals and four assists over a five-game point streak. Anze Kopitar also has points in five straight, logging three goals and three assists over that run, while Penner snapped a 17-game goal drought. "Two points here gives us a great road trip, five out of six isnt easy to do coming up here to the northwest," said Quick. "So, were happy with what we did this weekend and were looking forward to getting back home." The Kings have taken three in a row at home versus the Flames and will host them for the first time this season. They catch Calgary in the midst of an 0-4-2 slide on the road since a win at Columbus on Dec. 27. cheap jerseys from china ' ' '

HARRISON, N. wholesale jerseys .J. -- With replacement referees handling the games, there was bound to be some controversy in Major League Soccer this season. It happened in Week 2. Vicente Sanchez scored on a penalty kick in the 72rd minute after a questionable decision by the substitute referee and the Colorado Rapids and new coach Pablo Mastroeni opened their season with a 1-1 tie with the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. Substitute referee Alan Kelly awarded the penalty kick after defender Jamison Olave used his chest to knock a much smaller Marvin Chavez to the grass as he took a pass from Sanchez. "If its against you its a tough call," Mastroeni said. "If its for you, you are OK with it. I think referees are out of our control." The substitute referees are working the games because the Professional Referee Organization, which manages on-field officials for Major League Soccer, has locked out officials from the Professional Soccer Referees Association. The two sides have failed to reach agreement on a contract after the officials formed a union last year. Kelly told a pool reporter that Olave challenged Chavez from behind and initiated the contact, a decision that brought boos from the crowd of 20,542 at Red Bull Arena who earlier had thought that Thierry Henrys 57th-minute goal would be the winner. "I dont mean to be blunt, but in terms of the questions thats the straight forward answers I can give," Kelly said. Red Bulls coach Mike Petke didnt like the decision but he wasnt going to draw a fine from the league by criticizing it. "Listen, its the game," Petke said. "I mean what am I going to say about the penalty kick? Perhaps if the guy was Olaves size he would not have gone down like that. I dont know? Olave looked to step up and stand his ground and keep him in front of him and got him. The referee made a decision. Its unfortunate for us, fortunate for Colorado. You get away from it, move on from it." The 6-foot-3 and 210-pound Olave, who seemed shocked by the call, left the locker room and was not available for comment. Sanchez deposited the kick from the spot into the right corner of the net. Red Bulls keeper Luis Robles did not have a chance to stop it. "I spoke to the ref afterward and he said, He was too physical coming from behind him," Robles said. "I have to respect that." The Red Bulls, the defending Supporters Shield trophy winners, were trying to bounce back from a dismal season-opening performance in 4-1 loss at Vancouver last weekend. Henry, who did not play in the season opener because it was on an artificial surface, headed a brilliant crossing pass by Lloyd Sam under rookie goalkeeper John Berner. It was his 42nd goal for the Red Bulls, second on the career list behind Juan Pablo Angel (58). "There is no panic," Henry said about the slow start. "We have to go back to the film this week and do better because it obviously was not enough to win the game today." He had no comment on the referees decision. New York had two chances to win in the five minutes of injury time. Eric Alexander was wide with a shot in the box and Berner, who played last season at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, made a diving save on another header by Henry. "To say I wasnt on the edge of my seat of out, if not out of it, would be an understatement," said Mastroeni, who played 11-plus seasons with the Rapids and returned after last season with several club records, including most games played. "Thats the beauty of the game. It can all come down to the last minute, the last second, thats why its exciting." Robles had kept the Red Bulls in the game in the first half, making five saves, including a finger-tip stop on a 35-yard shot by Nick LaBrocca that caught the goalkeeper a little too far off his line. Mastroeni was named the Rapids head coach last week, replacing Oscar Pareja, who left in January to take the same job with his former club, FC Dallas. Mastroeni was in charge of the squad through the preseason.cheap jerseys from china .C. -- Angus Reid has always been willing to bend over backwards -- and forwards -- for the B. wholesale nfl jerseys . 1. The Florida Panthers can expect some support from Montreal tonight. cheap nfl jerseys . As it stands, the Canadiens trail New Jersey by seven points for the eighth and final playoff spot in the east. That can all change tonight as the Devils and Panthers square off in New Jersey. The Canadiens cant afford to just sit back and wait for other teams to help them out, however. They have to go out and take care of their own business, much like they did in their 7-3 drubbing of Winnipeg on Wednesday. Despite the Habs poor overall record, there is room for optimism. The seven goals scored last game was a team high on the season. That mark eclipsed their six goal effort against the Senators in Ottawa. Both offensive outbursts have come under the guidance of Randy Cunneyworth. The Habs coach has adopted a more aggressive fore-check. The players are saying the new message is play to win instead of playing not to lose. The Habs will host the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow night. It should be interesting to see if they can duplicate their effort from their last game. It should be noted that after beating the Senators 6-2 just ten days ago, the Habs lost their next game vs. Tampa. Randy Cunneyworth is hoping history wont repeat itself. Many members of the Lightning are from La Bell Province and will come to play in front of their family and friends, and Cunneyworth is well aware of it. He pushed the pace at practice today to ensure that his team is ready to go as well. He has told his players to stay hungry. The good news is that reinforcement is on the way in the form of Brian Gionta. The Habs captain has missed the last eleven games. He will be a welcomed weapon on offence. Not all the news from practice was positive, however, as rookie defenceman Alexei Emelin took a Yannick Weber shot to the face. The bloodied Emelin had to be helped off the ice. Luckily, it appears the injury is a minor one. Cunneyworth says the puck cut Emelin inside the mouth but did not hit a bone. He went on to say that he might dress seven defencemen against the Lightning. Twins Michelle and Katherine Plouffe of Edmonton combined for 36 points as Canada upset the United States 64-52 and secured first place in its group and an undefeated record. Michelle Plouffe had 24 points and eight rebounds while Katherine added 12 in the battle between undefeated teams. Wumi Agunbiade of Pickering, Ont., added 15 points and nine rebounds. "Michelle Plouffe is a very mature and smart basketball player that has helped the whole team maintain composure throughout the tournament," said Canadian coach Rich Chambers. Canadas 6-0 record after two rounds is the best for any national basketball team heading into the quarter-finals of a world championship. The Canadians best-ever finish at the womens under-19 tournament was fourth in 2009 in Bangkok, Thaiiland.wholesale jerseys. "We did a great job defending the guard play of the U.S.," Chambers said. "Our forwards made their entry into offence very difficult." The Canadians led 20-10 after the first quarter and 29-23 at halftime. They took a two-point lead into the fourth before pulling away from the Americans (5-1) over the final few minutes. Ariel Massengale had 17 points for the Americans, who outrebounded the Canadians 38-33. Korissa Williams of Windsor, Ont., was a big presence on the defensive end, with a team-high five steals and seven rebounds. Canadas opponent in Fridays quarter-finals is still to be determined, but Chambers said the game will be his teams toughest test yet. "All eight teams that are left could win the world championships," the coach said. The Canadians had already clinched in a berth in the quarter-finals with Tuesdays victory over Japan. cheap jerseys from china ' ' '

A couple weeks later, theres a whole new picture. Tommy Hanson shut down another AL East team, Dan Uggla hit a three-run homer and the Braves beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-2 on Saturday for their season-best sixth straight win. "Were right back where we were," Uggla said. The Braves are 8-1 since the long losing streak and trail division-leading Washington by one game. The Nationals beat the Red Sox 4-2 on Saturday. "Weve been playing good baseball," Uggla said. "Were grinding out at-bats, playing better defence and our pitchers have been outstanding. If we stay consistent like we have been the last week or so, well be all right." Braves rookie shortstop Andrelton Simmons hit his first career homer off Drew Hutchison (5-3) in the seventh. Michael Bourn had three hits. Hanson (7-4) improved to 6-0 in six career starts against teams from the AL East, including a win at Tampa Bay on May 18. He gave up two runs and five hits in eight innings while improving to 7-2 in interleague play overall. "I felt strong the entire time," Hanson said following his longest start of the season. Jose Bautista hit a two-run homer in the sixth, the only inning the Blue Jays had a runner reach third base. Toronto has lost three straight, including the first two games of the series. Craig Kimbrel pitched a perfect ninth for his NL-leading 18th save in 19 chances. Atlanta helped Hanson with a couple of nice plays in the field. Jason Heyward made a diving catch in right to take a hit away from McCoy in the seventh, and third baseman Martin Prado made a diving stop on Encarnacions sharp grounder in the fourth. "It was a lot of fun to watch," Hanson said. The Blue Jays also were impressed. "Prados a heck of a player at third base," Toronto manager John Farrell said. "Not just today but yesterday, makes a couple of diving plays to his backhand side. "They played a very solid game." Uggla connected against Hutchison in the third, hitting a drive to centre for his 11th homer. Bourn reached on a one-out single and Brian McCann walked with two down before Uggla went deep. Hutchison, a 21-year-old rookie making his first interleague start, gave up five runs and seven hits in 6 1-3 innings. Farrell said Hutchison was hurt by the homers by Uggla and Simmons. "I thought today Drew pitched as consistent as hes been the last three or four times out," Farrell said. "Two pitches found the middle of the plate. &qquot; He pitched with conviction.Lucas Nix Raiders Jersey. I thought he commanded the baseball, with the exception of those two pitches, as weve seen." Hutchison dropped to 2-3 with a 6.47 ERA in six road starts this season. "No, Im not satisfied with it," Hutchison said. "I put us in a hole early we had to come back from when I put us in a bigger hole and put it out of reach." Simmons, playing in only his second home game, led off the seventh with his first homer. He was given the silent treatment for a few seconds before he was swarmed by his teammates in the dugout. "I saw the guys sitting down," Simmons said. "Ive got a good read on them. I knew what they were doing. It was good. It was fun." Jose Constanza followed with his second infield hit. Hanson then sacrificed before Bourn greeted left-hander Luis Perez with an RBI double. Hanson gave up only two hits through five innings before struggling with two outs in the sixth. Colby Rasmus singled and scored on Bautistas 17th homer, cutting Atlantas lead to 3-2. Edwin Encarnacion followed with a single before Kelly Johnson ended the inning with a deep fly ball caught by Constanza at the wall in left. Blue Jays left fielder Rajai Davis left after the fifth inning in only his second game back after missing a game with a jammed left middle finger. Farrell said Davis developed a blister on the back of his left index finger from the treatment for the jammed finger. "The blister thats there creates a lot of discomfort for him," Farrell said. "When he swung the bat, the bat came out of his hand in the last at-bat and we had to get him out of the game." Mike McCoy replaced Davis in left field.
