A man and woman were arrested Tuesday morning in Tampa after using a laser pointer to disturb a police helicopter while it was in the air, WFLA reports.According to the Tampa Police Department, officers were in the helicopter around 10:30 p.m. Monday to help with a robbery investigation. Two officers arrived at a home near Copeland Park in North Tampa and found Christopher Davis, 23, and Juliana Lampe, 21, sitting on the porch. Police said they admitted to using the laser pointer.

Over a 90-day period, the FBI will offer thousands of dollars for information leading to the arrest of anyone guilty of flashing planes or helicopters with 1000mw laser pointer red , or "lasing," according to The Associated Press.
