5 fantastic series about the post-apocalypse from mila eryomina's blog

In this collection you will find interesting, in my opinion, Post-Apocalyptic TV Shows, which led to the fall of the usual way of life of earthlings. Hope you find something new for yourself.

The last ship

The Last Ship is a post-apocalyptic television series based on the novel The Last Ship by William Brink. The series begins with a global epidemic taking the lives of most of the world's population, and the remaining survivors must cope with the consequences of this epidemic. The protagonist, the captain of the US destroyer Nathan James, and his crew on the ship become the last hope of humanity. They are looking for a cure for the virus while fighting other surviving factions and gangs who want to take over the ship and resources. For my taste, this is quite a good series that can brighten up more than one evening.

Through the snow

Snowpiercer is an American post-apocalyptic television series based on the French film and graphic novel of the same name. The action of the series takes place in a frozen world, as a result of a failed experiment with climate change. The only survivors are people on a train called "Through the Snow", which endlessly circles the earthly world. The train cars are divided into classes, and the series touches on the social and political tensions between them. The plot centers on a rebel named Andrew Layton, who is trying to change the existing order on the train and improve the living conditions for all passengers. Quite a good series and quite an original idea.

Fear the walking dead

Fear the Walking Dead is an American spin-off television series from The Walking Dead. The series takes place during the nascent zombie apocalypse in Los Angeles and focuses on a group of survivors, including the Clark family and Madison, as they try to keep their lives alive in a completely crazy new world. Gradually, the heroes begin to trust each other and unite for the sake of their salvation. The communication skills of each of the group help in survival at every stage of their journey. For those who love zombie movies, this series is almost a must-see. In my opinion, the first two seasons are very interesting and exciting, then interest in events gradually decreases. Despite this, I definitely recommend watching the series.

Rain

The Rain is a Danish post-apocalyptic television series from Netflix. The series tells the story of brother and sister, Simon and Rasmus, who survive after a rain-borne virus wiped out most of the population. They join a group of other young survivors as they embark on a perilous journey through post-apocalyptic Denmark, in search of shelter and answers to the origins of the virus. Along their journey, they encounter danger, unexpected allies, and internal conflicts as they fight to find hope for a better future. Pretty good series to watch. However, in my opinion, nothing supernatural should be expected from him.

See

See is an American fantasy television series created for Apple TV+. The series takes place in the distant future, where most of humanity has lost their sight. Society began to be based on other feelings, and knowledge of vision became literally a myth. The protagonist, Baba Wax, played by Jason Momoa, is the chief of a tribe and the father of two twins who have gained their sight. In a crazy world, Baba Wax and his closest supporters fight for the freedom and preservation of children and their unique ability to see. In parallel, the heroes explore the past and try to unravel the mystery of why the world has lost its sight. The series has great visuals, superb action scenes, and a complex world that raises questions about human nature, faith, and identity.

In my opinion, there are many other interesting series on this topic, so do not forget to share your favorites in the comments below the post. Thank you all for your attention.
