Poetry On Love from Anna Marle's blog

As a master of Urdu idiom and as one capable of stringing together the simplest words with the greatest effect, it is difficult to find any one in modern times who has excelled like Daag Dehlvi. If you are drowned in the immense ocean of love and devotion, Feeding Trends brings to you Daag Dehlvi shayaris to make you relive your love moments again.

Daag Dehlvi's Life and Background

Nawab Mirza Khan Dagh Dehlavi (1831-1905), was born and brought up in the red fort of Delhi where his mother was married to prince Mirza Mohammad Sultan, son of Bahadur Shah Zafar.

After his father’s death, he had to leave the red fort, and after the fall of Delhi in 1857, he had to move to Rampur where he lived in comfort for more than a decade. Later, his changing conditions, for good or bad, took him to other centres of renown like Lucknow, Patna, Calcutta, and Hyderabad.

Daag Dehlvi wrote romantic and sensuous poems and ghazals in simple and chaste Urdu, minimising usage of Persian words. He laid great emphasis on the Urdu idiom and its usage.

What is love? What do we know about love? Love Poetry is an enormously, powerful emotion that we feel since we are born. The first love of our life is our parents and the love between them, which makes us want someone like that in our life. Someone who will genuinely love us the way we are.

We can say that love is a strong feeling for someone. Love is a genuine and positive feeling for other people. Passion refers to emotional feelings and attachment to someone. Loving is considered to be the most potent emotion among human beings. Without compassion, this planet must have been a tough place to live. Yet we're going to think about a different form of love, the type that demonstrates passion between two couples.
