Have many a million of hours at that series from the times it was known as ChamMan. And yeah, I'll definitely agree that NBA/2k seldom innovate, but neither does FM/Sega possibly, it's mt nba 2k21 not like that they invent the lightbulb every year, and that's the issue with series which have more or less competition/monopoly, as they don't NEED to enhance, since they know people will only buy their game . I'm just as big of a fan as FM because you obviously are, but if you think FM/Sega is reinventing the wheel every year you're just intentionally lying to yourself:P The matter that really DOES change every year though is a updated transfer/database, that is quite often updated by the neighborhood anyway, so you can live without it. Today, maybe every 3-4 year there is a new thing into the game that is well worth mentioning, make it better hands over approaches, or even better 3d matches etc.. And certain, then it may actually be super value picking up a new variant of it. I will not deny that. But it definitely isn't something one ought to purchase every year. They essentially completed the genre with lively standing. The only thing missing is dynamic youth level and the other country particular attributes. They wont present anything new anymore, they simply need to flesh out the features in the game that are rather barebone. They get sold trash and they do not care cause it's the new roll changes or whatever.
Why don't they simply make F2P sports games with microtransactions? They will surely earn more money compared to selling standalone due to the larger playerbase It is always amusing to listen to people bitch about buy nba 2k21 mt mtx in Fifa, etc. and then they go and purchase the next one, wash repeat.Though it isn't exclusive to sports players.
