Microsoft has about Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta as much participation from Rskingdom's blog

That is correct, this is mainly a SEGA attempt. Concerning hosting servers, Microsoft has about Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta as much participation as Amazon does hosting Fortnite's servers... that is to imply Microsoft has the server system (think about it like renting servers for hosting a website) but everything else is down to SEGA (according to some Japanese meeting, utilizing MS Azure was even a SEGA decision). That said though, that interview I brought up also stated that SEGA will be reaching out to Microsoft about how to control a game for a Western audience.

It is the attempt for certain of SEGA. I believe they were carefully planning until the time that's now to this although I know they took this long. The PSO2 at this time is the ideal iteration. Class balance and the way they were played were atrocious until lately. Which is probably the main reason why SEA servers failed because they started at episode 1.

I am pretty certain they were not planning anything. They had declared a release years back, and then stopped talking about it. This was way before SEA servers. When Microsoft offered them hosting, then they began making moves. I'm curious as to why they did not launch it years ago.Just had a thought while reading a number of the other remarks. Maybe SEGA was pulling a significant brain movement by delaying the NA release for years so that the ravenous PSO fanbase could spend these years gainfully employed, and have that much more purchasing power to cheap meseta pso2 whale the shit out of makeup when PSO2 eventually does launch NA.
