WHEN SHOULD I START PLAYING? IS IT TOO LATE TO START NOW?The peak of players occurs when new content patches are released. But there are always people in WoW, and there won’t be any special problems going somewhere.

The situation is similar in classics. There are still a lot of new recruits, but not as many as at the start. People still go to low-level dungeons, and at high levels they still run into starting raids. If you jump in now, you'll be able to catch up and see a lot.
The best time to burst is always the start, purely due to emotions and general excitement.
On classic, we strongly recommend choosing a pvp server for complete immersion.
In the ru-region there is no particular choice; you need to sign up for the Plamegor server. This is almost always a full player, live server with a relatively good balance of factions. However, if queues are not your thing, look towards Zmeytalak and Rok Delar.
The only thing that is currently tied to the server is the auction, guilds and mythic raids. If you have friends in some guild or you suddenly want to get into the top guild for better progress in raids, then immediately go to their server. At the auction, problems may also arise on dead servers when there are no reagents you need.
There are practically no queues on the actual one now, except perhaps at the start of the expansion, but they are not as bad as on the classic one. So you can even aim directly at the top servers, such as Gordunni, Soul Flayer and Howling Fjord.
You should always play with the class that you like best in terms of gameplay, visuals, and so on. Of course, there are differences in the effectiveness of classes. And in their role too, but this is critical, except perhaps in classics or in very hardcore keys in Actual. It is much more important to enjoy the chosen role.
