I must admit, I've never jumped into Old School RuneScape for some time from Muxia's blog

I must admit, I've never jumped into RS Gold for some time. Because of Shattered League looking to mix different levels of play, and that sweet experience-gain multiplier that makes your whole game much faster and more enjoyable, this could be what I needed to return to it.

These leagues have previously proven to be successful in attracting the interest of the Old School RuneScape community, with the old Trailblazer league returning in the year 2020, bringing in 170,000 concurrent players. Fingers crossed the league will prove just as popular this time around.

The Shattered League is running from today through March 3. If you've been thinking to return to Old School RuneScape, this is the ideal time to do so. If you're contemplating jumping in to Old School RuneScape, let us know below what's your reason!

Runescape and Outriders aren't necessarily two games that people think of together and so having the Runescape player join r/Outriders might be surprising. It did result in an enjoyable post and interaction between players of either or both games. It all boils down to one previous Jagex employees: David Osborne, otherwise called in the Runescape community as Mod Osborne.

Osborne recently revealed on LinkedIn that he's leaving Jagex after fifteen years of content editing in narrative design, design, and lead design. He took the decision as he explains, to "test his experience within the field." Osborne is leaving Jagex and is going straight to Square Enix on the publishing part, as a Senior Designer. He'll be overseeing "some excellent games" beginning with Outriders.

This revelation led Redditor FatNWackyRS to contact members of r/Outriders with an easy message about Mod Osborne and his reputation, describing him as the "warm and friendly "Dad" face at Jagex." FatNWackyRS describes everything that Osborne has done for the community over the years, including some clips, including appearances as Mod Elfborne in order to promote Prifddinas (an Elf City in Runescape) as well as joining livestreams and assisting with the vision of the company.

While some gamers or communities might be upset at the loss of a well-known brand, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to share their experiences. One of the commenters states that they feel they've lost and won when playing the game of Runescape and Outriders. Many were thrilled with this announcement, and some even had never interacted with Osborne prior to the glowing praise of an individual in the Runescape community.

What exactly will happen on his end of the Outriders fence is yet to be determined, however players know that a lot of positive things are expected to come into the sport. Outriders' Worldslayer expansion is scheduled to be announced this spring and is set to be released in the year ahead and beyond. People Can Fly has a many other projects that are being developed, including a game that will be developed with Square Enix. What happens if Osborne is involved in that, though, remains to be seen.

FatNWackyRS ends his post with an easy, heartfelt note to Osborne If he happens to be reading it Thank you for everything you have contributed to Runescape and warm wishes for his tenure at Square Enix. "We have a deep affection for you, and we will miss you and I wish you the highest amount of prosperity for your exciting ventures together with Square Enix," the Redditor wrote for the RS community.

Thanks to my 2006 diary I'm able to say with certainty that I took my first steps in Gielinor the RuneScape setting on April 29th that year with OSRS Fire Cape Buy. The younger Lottie wrote about the fact that RuneScape was'very good looking with its cool map, but then she went on a tirade about how she couldn't find the last episode from Neon Genesis Evangelion on what I'm assuming was a legal website. I'm curious about what she could have written had she known RuneScape would be a regular fixture on her collection of gaming games.
