Samantha DeParre, MSN, VA-BC, RN-BC, has been appointed nurse manager of the Ambulatory Infusion Center at Christiana Care.

DeParre will continue to serve as nurse manager of Vascular Access at Christiana and Wilmington hospitals, a position she assumed in 2017. In these roles, DeParre will manage operations for both Vascular Access and Ambulatory Infusion.

She joined Christiana Care in 2007 and has since served as a staff nurse in the Emergency Department, and assistant nurse manager in Behavioral Health at Christiana Hospital.

Since joining the Vascular Access team, DeParre has doubled Vascular Access outpatient services and expanded services offered to include ultrasound guided peripheral intravenous lines and midlines in an effort to reduce central line utilization and improve vessel health preservation.
