Lost Odyssey or Blue Dragon would not come as remake from qinteme's blog

Compared to Nintendo and Playstation in that era, Microsoft's attempt to enter the Japanese market through the Xbox 360 was not exactly successful. But at that time, this effort spawned at least 2 legendary JRPG games that seemed to be forgotten. The two games are Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon which were formulated by Mistwalker, a developer who was under the cold hands of the father of Final Fantasy - Hironobu Sakaguchi. Unfortunately, refusing to keep up with the trends of many older games today, the dream of seeing these games return in a more modern format seems to have withered before they flourished.

Talking to the VGC site, Sakaguchi came up with a statement that looked ready to upset a lot of gamers. He said that currently there are no plans to remake past Mistwalker console games such as Lost Odyssey & Blue Dragon on the Xbox 360 or The Last Story on the Nintendo Wii.

Sakaguchi said that despite the name “Remake” being carried, the hassles and resources required were actually no different from developing a new game. Therefore, he prefers to mix a new game with an original world and story. This idea he called, was much more attractive to him.

Sakaguchi and Mistwalker themselves have just launched the latest JRPG game - Fantasias for Apple Arcade, which will be divided into 2 parts and is said to be the last JRPG he composed. How about you? How many of you would love to see the Mistwalker's classic JRPG culminate in a remake?
