Runescape founder Jagex increases $300K for mental health charities

Runescape founder Jagex has raised £225,000 ($305,000) over the last year to help support mental health charities CPSL Mind, The Prince's Trust, and YMCA Right Here.

The studio has been working together with Buy Runescape gold 3 associations on a local, national, and global level to try and affect change and encourage young people struggling with mental health.

The developer initially expected to increase £150,000 ($203,000) as it launched its Charitable Giving initiative back in April 2017, but has smashed that goal by some margin.

"Our enthusiastic and ample RuneScape community has helped raise hundreds of thousands of pounds to get some extraordinary causes over the last few years," explained Jagex CEO, Phil Mansell.
