fifa 16 launched on Tuesday to mostly rave reviews of the console versions, but a recent bug spotted on the PC version that makes the game virtually unplayable. EA did issue an acknowledgement in that thread saying developers were aware of the problem and no one needed to lodge a complaint anymore.

The statement doesn't seem to have tamped down the anger over the mistake, with people continuing to complain even after EA's response. It probably doesn't help that the original question is marked as solved and links only to the a statement that the company knows about the issue.
 
At this point, it doesn't appear the bug is affecting fifa 16 for the Xbox versions, or fifa 16 for the PlayStation versions. The issue appears to be limited to the PC iteration of the title. Not having the same kind of problems in the console version is cold comfort for those who are only looking to play the it on their computer for any number of reasons. It would certainly be in EA's best interest to make fixing the midfield scrum bug a top priority in order to keep fifa 16's launch day a happy one.
